Our History

History

Cube Company established in 2008 as the most precursor private company in eSports in Iran and held national tournaments yearly in the country. Also Cube company is Webedia partner in Electronic Sports World Convention and held Iran qualifications since 2012 yearly in Tehran Milad Tower as Sixth highest telecommunication tower in the world and sent Iranian qualified gamers to ESWC Grand Finals in Paris city in France.

2008 - FIRST TOURNAMENT

First Cube gaming tournament held in 2008 in Tehran and professional gamers of two state of the country (Tehran and Karaj) join this tournament
This tournament was helding one or two times per months by Cube till 2012.

2011 - FIRST NATIONAL EVENT

The first big national tournament was held by Cube in 2011 in Iran and professional gamers all around the country joined the tournament in Tehran Mellat Tower to compete for Iran best gamers title in the tournament.

2012 - BECOMES THE LEADING IN IRAN

In 2012 Cube was holding the biggest games tournament in the country in 8 different games and also made partnership with ESWC global to hold FIFA tournament in Iran and sent Iranian champion to Paris to join Electronic Sports World Cup
Cube was holding the tournament in Tehran Milad Tower as the highest tower in Iran and 6th telecommunication tower in the world so Iranian gamers were competing with each other on the height of 280 meters of ground.

2013 - BECOMES THE MOST FAMOUS ESPORTS BRAND

In 2013 Cube held two big events in Iran and known as the most famous and most Valuable eSports brand in the country
First tournament was holding in Tehran Mosalla named Games Festival and second tournament was holding again in Tehran Milad Tower as Iran qualifying for ESWC Global
The Games Festival moved the record of Games tournament spectators in Iran by having more than 50,000 spectators in a tournament
At the end of the year Cube sent Iranian champions to ESWC Paris again to compete with another countries for world titles.

2104 - HOLDING LG CUP IN IRAN

In 2014 Cube was holding LG Cup before starting World Cup 2014 in Tehran Mellat Pardis
This event was simulating of World Cup and the countries were selected for World Cup 2014.

2104 - ACHIEVING WORLD TITLE

In 2014 Cube held ESWC qualifying tournament in Iran for third consecutive year as ESWC partner in the country and sent Iranian champion to ESWC Grand Finals in Paris
Iranian champion – Navid Borhani – achieved world championship in FIFA game in Electronic Sports World Cup Event which be held in Paris Games Week.

2015 - ESTABLISH IRAN GAMES LEAGUE

For the first time, in the year 2015, we decided to hold the championships as an organized league instead of a single tournament
So the games were held in several rounds in 5 months
These games are being held with the sponsorship of different organizations. First of all, The National Foundation of Video Games which has been our sponsor of all our championships, also Milad Tower providing us with space and facilities and finally bitStream in the field of airing our more sensitive games live on our website. We hope to see once again our players succeed in international championships.
Milad Tower, the host of our last competitions for the third year in a row, is the tallest tower in Iran and The 6th telecommunication tower in the world.
For the First time in Iran, we had allocated the three main stages of Milad Tower for different levels of our championships, the Art Gallery for the preliminary games (400 square meters), the Open View Platform (3000 square meters) in the height of 280meters for more sensitive games, and the main stage (more than 20,000 square meters) with the capacity of thousands of spectators for finals.
Lots of audience tend to visit this event and we have had a large number of spectators especially in our more sensitive games, like finals.
The FIFA final in Ramadan Cup – 2nd round of League, held from July10th to July17th, was watched by a number of nearly 10,000 people in the main stage of Milad Tower. The overall number of audience in Ramadan Cup is estimated more than 30,000 people.
Cube has always held the biggest gaming events in the gaming history of Iran and has had the honor of partnership with ESWC in the past four years.

2016 - IRAN GAMES LEAGUE (IGL)

2nd year of Iran Games League was holding again in Tehran Milad Tower and it was the first tournament in both online and offline mode
About 2,000 unique gamers participated in IGL 2016 and it was 50% more than the first year of IGL.

2017 - IRAN GAMES LEAGUE (IGL)

3rd year of IGL was holding in Tehran Milad Tower like past years and contained ESWC qualifier for ESWC 2017 in some games.
About 7,000 gamers participated in IGL 2017,  special prize of the league was a Peugeot car and 20,000$ cash money, final match and closing ceremony of IGL 2017 was broadcasting on TV channel 3 that is the most popular TV channel in Iran.
Cube and ESWC made 6th years partnership in 2017.

2018 - IRAN GAMES LEAGUE (IGL)

IGL 2018 was holding in Tehran Milad Tower once again like previous years.
About 12,000 gamers participated in IGL 2018 and move the records to make a new record in Iran Gaming tournaments history,  it was the biggest gaming tournament ever in the country.

Final match and closing ceremony of IGL 2018 was broadcasting on TV channel 3 that is the most popular TV channel in Iran.
